About
AI Dev Tools is an independent technical blog for software engineers. We cover the tools, runtimes, and patterns that are actually changing how developers work — not the ones that just make good press releases.
What we write about
- AI developer tooling — MCP, LLM integration patterns, AI-assisted coding workflows, agent frameworks
- TypeScript and JavaScript runtimes — Deno, Bun, Node.js, Vite, build tooling
- Engineering craft — code review, async patterns, API design, security
- Release teardowns — when a major update ships, we read the changelog and tell you what actually matters
Editorial approach
Every post is written for engineers who are already working in the space. We skip the "what is TypeScript" introductions and focus on the parts that are non-obvious or where the official docs fall short.
We try to keep posts short. A 3-minute read that answers the question is better than a 12-minute read padded with code you'll never run. If a post covers a patch release, we focus on what actually broke and why — not a tour of every changed line.
